Welcome to Sandiacre Coal & Logs. These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website and the purchase of products from us. By placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Sandiacre Coal & Logs (“we”, “our”, “us”) supplies solid fuels to customers within the UK.

Eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years old to purchase from us.

  • By ordering, you confirm that all details you provide are true, accurate, and complete.

 

Products

  • We supply solid fuels, including coal and logs.

  • Product descriptions and images are for guidance only; natural products may vary in appearance.

  • Availability is subject to stock. If we cannot fulfil your order, we will contact you and offer a refund or alternative.

 

Orders & Payment

  • When you place an order, you will receive an acknowledgment email. A contract is formed once we confirm acceptance and payment is received.

  • We accept payment through our secure third-party payment providers. We do not store payment card details.

  • Prices are listed in GBP and include VAT where applicable. Delivery charges (if any) will be shown at checkout.

 

Delivery

  • We deliver to the address provided at checkout.

  • Delivery times are estimates; while we aim to deliver promptly, delays may occur due to circumstances beyond our control.

  • Risk in the goods passes to you upon delivery. Ownership passes once full payment has been received.

 

Cancellations & Returns

  • You may cancel your order before dispatch for a full refund.

  • Under UK consumer law, you may return unused and unopened goods within 14 days of delivery. You are responsible for return costs.

  • Due to the nature of our products (solid fuels), once goods have been opened or used, they cannot be returned unless faulty.

  • If your goods are damaged or incorrect, please contact us within 7 days and we will arrange a replacement or refund.

 

Liability

  • We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control (e.g. severe weather, transport issues).

  • Our liability is limited to the value of the goods purchased. We do not accept responsibility for indirect or consequential losses.

  • Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any rights you have under UK consumer law.

 

Website Use

  • You must not misuse our website by introducing viruses or attempting unauthorised access.

  • We may suspend or withdraw the website at any time without notice.

 

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date.

 

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
